History of omicron-xi
On September 27th, 1975, the Omicron-Xi Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon was officially chartered. After over 25 years at the Capstone, the original chapter was disbanded.
In 2019, a group of young men decided to bring TKE back to the University of Alabama, and in April of 2022, we were rechartered as an official chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon.
Now, in 2025, as we prepare to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our first charter, Omicron-Xi continues to succeed, being named IFC Chapter of the Year at the UA Greek Excellence Awards and receiving Top TKE Chapter Awards in 2023 and 2024.
